This vintage Hand-Knot rug was woven by a family residing in Guigou, nestled within the heartland of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Unique to this rug is its technique, resembling a Flatweave structure, yet each knot is meticulously pulled through in a reverse direction compared to traditional Hand-Knotted rugs. This distinctive method creates a loop pile, enhancing both the appearance and texture of the rug.
Crafted from 100% "live" wool, the colors of this vintage piece are naturally derived from the local sheep's coat, without the use of any dyes
